  These are just a few (very few) of the paper assessments that were given in my music class. I use a variety of ways to assess the students because we are all so different. In my opinion, no classroom teacher should only use ONE method of testing their students, that's why I use multiple types of assessments.

 I LOVE it when 100% of my students GET IT! This week my 4th and 3rd graders demonstrated basic rhythmic patterns in duple and triple meter. They ROCKED it. I wish I would have taken some audio because it sounded fantastic.
